Come play with the Kings and Queens of asana. Bring inversions into your practice or build them in length, strength and variation to receive the biggest benefits in all of yoga. Going upside-down, while breathing in and out, shifts the dynamic between body and brain. Submerging the mental and elevating the physical, empowers intuitive insight to surface. Effecting respirator rhythms, circulatory and lymphatic and vital fluids flow, bathing spine, central nervous system and stimulates cranial bones to breath more freely. These practices are the gateway to meditation and an ideal preparation for the higher states of consciousness.
Expect to learn and practice, headstand, shoulder stand, handstand and forearm stand variations. Explore extended time to build strength, confidence and endurance. Guided breathing practices are an essential part of each session.
Widen the inner-most central channel and ride the currents of the body’s most vital energies. Inversions offer the the greatest benefits of all poses and breathing practices can be the most transformative in the tradition of yoga and meditation. Come enjoy these practices for a lifetime.
Teachers taking course for certification will have reading assignments between sessions.
